Money Magazine Names Apple Valley as one of the Best Places to Live in the Country! Some places have everything any family could want -- economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a sense of community! What we already know has been discovered by Money Magazine. The magazine ranks Apple Valley 24th out of 100 in Money's annual list, "Best Place to Live"! In 2007, the City was named 28th Best Place to Live. Why is Apple Valley the "apple of the state and national eye"? The magazine has recognized our innovative Downtown, the excellent schools, including the School of Environmental Studies, the Minnesota Zoo, and the many miles of walking trails that offer opportunities for nature buffs, young and old alike.
