City of Apple Valley Other Government Schools and Education

Apple Valley is primarily served by Independent School District (ISD) 196 (Apple Valley-Eagan-Rosemount). A small portion of the City, in the northwestern corner, is in ISD 191 (Burnsville-Eagan-Savage). Apple Valley is also served by a K-8 Charter School the Paideia Academy.

Higher Education Opportunities

Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) has formed partnerships with Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and Inver Hills Community College to provide a higher education site in Apple Valley. The Higher Education Center site is housed in the former Apple Valley City Hall building at 14200 Cedar Ave. and hosts a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree courses.
