CANOE RACKS on Apple Valley Lakes
You can now rent a canoe rack on Cobblestone Lake, Farquar Lake, Keller Lake or Lac Lavon and store your water craft where you can use it easily. Racks will be available for watercraft defined as canoes, kayaks and sailboards. All other craft may be considered for a
permit at the sole discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department. Requests for rack assignment from Apple Valley residents will be given preference through May 15. All Apple Valley applicants who make their requests by May 15 will be entered into a drawing for the
available rack assignments. PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited. The Apple Valley Parks and Recreation Department cannot guarantee assignment of a rack to all applicants. After the drawing, the remaining assignments will be given out on a first come first serve
basis for both resident and non-resident requests. Fee information available by calling 952-953-2300.

Disc Golf Course
In addition to being a great location for a group picnic, Alimagnet
Park is also a great location to play disc golf (aka Frisbee golf).
Discs specially designed for disc golf may be rented at the Apple
Valley Community Center; a set contains a driver, mid-range, and
putter. If you don’t want to rent discs, any regular Frisbee can be
used. Come out and try the fun recreational game of Disc Golf!

ADOPT-A-PARK
The Parks and Recreation Department is actively seeking community oriented groups to join the ADOPT-A-PARK program. This program fits nicely with groups looking for a community service project. We require a minimum of three clean up visits to a park in a one-year period. In return, we will publish your group’s name in our quarterly brochure. If you would like to take part and help your community, please contact Tom Adamini, Superintendent of Park Maintenance at 952-953-2420.
