Rental Facilities, Rooms, and Park Shelters

Most of the parks in Apple Valley are equipped with picnic tables and small barbecue grills to accommodate small picnic groups. These facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they are reserved. For more information and to reserve picnic facilities for your group, please complete the park shelter reservation form. The rental rates for these facilities vary from $40 to $60 per day. Some facilities require a $50 damage deposit, in addition to the rental fee.

Picnic Game Rental
A variety of picnic games are available for rent through the Parks and Recreation Department. Equipment can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by calling (952) 953-2300. Resident rates are $5 per day per game, and non-resident rates are $10 per day
per game. A $25 damage deposit is required.

Chuckwagon Barbecue
Cook up to 100 hamburgers at one time on the 24-by-72-inch cooking surface of the Parks and Recreation Department's portable barbecue grill. The grill is available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis within any City of Apple Valley park. The rental fee is $20 per day plus a $25 damage deposit.
