Responsibilities
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) works with land owners, businesses, developers, public agencies, and non-profit partners. The EDA encourages significant job development on the considerable acres of land available for medical, corporate, and financial service office development. Historically, business addition, retention and expansion has been a priority in our established and centrally located downtown. The EDA evaluates the use of tax increment financing resources to support economic development.
