Apple
Valley Freedom Days will kick off on Friday, June 26, and will conclude with a
spectacular fireworks show on the 4th at Johnny Cake Ridge Park. In between these
two marquee events, there will be plenty to do for people of all ages and interests.
Admission fees apply to some of these events. More detailed information will be
available in This Week newspapers in mid-June or by visiting

One
of the state's largest and most respected parades begins promptly at 1 p.m. The
parade begins at Pennock Avenue & Fireside Drive and travels north, turns
left (west) onto 145th street, turns right (north) onto Hayes Road and concludes
at Apple Valley High School. Spectators are reminded
that they are not allowed to place their belongings on sidewalks, streets, adjacent
properties and boulevards until 24 hours before the start of the parade. This
is a city ordinance that will be enforced. View
