Polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Judges report to the polling place beginning as early as 5:30 a.m. It is preferred judges work the full day, and preference will be given to applicants willing to work full days at both elections. If you can only work half a day, the shifts are 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to closing. Judges are paid an hourly rate of $12.00 per hour, and training will be provided on equipment and voting procedures.

If you are selected to serve, you will be notified by email approximately one-month prior to the election with instructions.
To encourage participation, State law allows individuals to take time off from work, without penalty of loss of wages, to serve as election judges. Details on how to request time off from your employer can be provided.
