[ARCHIVED] Help keep areas of your property near intersections free of sightline obstructions!

To ensure adequate visibility of on-coming traffic at intersections, corner properties should maintain area near intersections free of any structures or plantings greater than 36” (inches) in height.

To ensure adequate visibility of on-coming traffic at intersections, corner properties should maintain the area near intersections free of any structures or plantings greater than 36” (inches) in height.

Corner areas defined by the triangular area within 30 feet of an intersection along each intersecting curb-lines should be maintained free of structures and plantings greater than 36” in height.  Hedges, signs, fences, and any landscaping features such as planters, boulders, berms, or other monuments greater than 36” (inches) in height may not be located within corner areas.  Structures, plantings, and landscaping in excess of 36” should be installed/planted outside of corner areas.

Additionally, tree limbs overhanging any public street (beyond the curb-line) below the height of 13 feet should be trimmed.  Tree limbs overhanging the surface of a public sidewalk below a height of 10 feet should also be trimmed.
