[ARCHIVED] Assist the City’s snow removal efforts by keeping your vehicle off City Streets during snow events!

Did you know that City ordinance prohibits parking on public streets during City snow removal operations?

Did you know that City ordinance prohibits parking on public streets during City snow plowing operations?

After snow fall events, City snow plow crews are dispatched to clear major and residential streets.  All vehicles must be removed from public streets whenever City snow removal efforts are taking place to ensure timely, efficient and thorough clearing of the City streets.

Code Enforcement may be dispatched to alert residents of City snow plowing operations in their area so vehicles can be removed from the street ahead of the plows, and avoid a parking citation.  During the winter season, keep an eye on the weather forecast to know when snow plowing may take place or refer to the City webpage for updates on snow removal activities.  (Link provided below.)  Please remember that parking on City streets between 3 and 6 AM is prohibited every day, all year, by ordinance.

Please direct questions to Ben Pierson, Code Enforcement, at 952.953.2571 or bpierson@ci.apple-valley.mn.us.
