As a resident of the City of Apple Valley and Dakota County you have numerous options available to you for disposal of yard waste and unwanted household items. Yard waste can be disposed of by transporting the material numerous yard waste collection sites located in Dakota County. Unwanted items including house hold appliances, furniture, construction debris, etc. can be dropped off at numerous collections sites, or arranged for special pick-up through your trash hauler. This spring, when the snow and ice melt completely, please remember to clean all lawn and boulevard areas of pet waste thoroughly. This will not only make your lawn a more pleasant place for your own enjoyment, but it is a good way to be a great neighbor!
