[ARCHIVED] Take advantage of the Apple Valley Clean-up event Saturday, September 25th!

Fall Clean-up path with trees in fall

Do you have items for disposal accumulating around the house, garage, or yard? Visit the Apple Valley Clean-up Day event on Saturday, September 25th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Apple Valley Family Aquatic Center at 14421 Johnny Cake Ridge Road.

As an alternative to collection by a licensed hauler, or transporting waste to a landfill yourself, the City of Apple Valley in association with Dakota Valley Recycling brings you this additional opportunity to dispose of household waste and perhaps bulky items. Take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of waste items around your house and yard. This will be a great opportunity to dispose of items that are not typically part of a household waste stream, or may be more costly to dispose of alternatively. Items that will be accepted include appliances, tires, scrap metal, mattress and box springs, furniture, carpet and padding, and other home remodeling debris.

Please follow the link below for additional information about items that will be accepted and those that not will not be accepted and the associated fees. Proof of residency is required.

If you have any questions regarding this event please contact Dakota Valley Recycling at 952-895-4559.
