Calling all dog lovers! Bring your four-legged friend to this fun, community event in Kelley Park that focuses on staying safe while out and about.
It's time to get out and reconnect with the outdoors! Many residents take advantage of the summer months to walk, bike, or run outside – and we all know these activities are more fun when we bring our furry friends along! Our Watchdog Walkers event is aimed at providing information on how to spot and report suspicious activity. This year we are also concentrating on safety by highlighting being safe by being seen. The event will take place on June 7, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Kelley Park, located at 6855 Fortino St, Apple Valley.
Watchdog Walkers brings pet-themed vendors together for a night of fun for you and your dog! Browse our vendor tables and take advantage of the awesome freebies handed out! Learn about Apple Valley ordinances specific to pet ownership and meet our newest K9 Officer, Bergil Palomino. Pet Hospital staff will also be on hand offering exams and reduced fee vaccinations.
Those in attendance can register to win a rechargeable, light-up dog collar or leash compliments of the Apple Valley Police Department!
